Bobbi Brown - The Nude Library

This post really excites me, as I get to write about my new favorite eye shadow palette. I recently got my hands on one of the Bobbi Brown Nude Library 25th Anniversary Eyeshadow Palettes, and let me just say...OH MY GOD! It is AMAZING!!!!! It's the only thing I reach for these days when it comes to making up my eyes. The palette was designed by Bobbi Brown to be universally flattering and to suit all skin types, using her favorite nude shades from archived nude palettes across the span of her career. She took her inspiration from the colours she sees naturally in woman's faces. There are 40 shades split across the two sides of the palette, and contain a good variety of base, lid and liner shades. There are mattes, shimmers and glitters.

My favorite shades, and the ones I tend to use over and over again come from the last row on the right hand side of the palette named "Nectar & Nude". The colours from that row that I especially love using for a really natural every day look are "Soft Buff", "Pink Bellini" and "Earth". If I want to create a slightly more intense look then I sometimes smudge in "Rich Caviar" or the more Navy colour "Rich Navy" into my lash line.

I know that there are a couple of these Palettes left at my local Bobbi Brown store in Mosman, Sydney. It is Limited edition though, and once they are sold out they will not be getting any more in stock. They do have some of the colours as single shadows, but not all of them. In my opinion, and this is definitely not a sponsored post, it is a must have.
