My August Favorites.

These are the products that I have not been able to live without over the last month. These are the products that I have incorporated into my getting ready routine every day. I wanted to share this with you all, so hopefully you could also enjoy the benefits each of these products give.

Clockwise from bottom left:

1.) M.A.C - Paint Pot in colour 'Layin' Low'.

This is a cream shadow that dries matte. It comes in a variety of colours and can be worn on its own or under eyeshadow. I like to to use this colour by itself for a natural look to even out the tone of my eyelid, or under eyeshadow. When using under eyeshadow , it will help the eyeshadow colour pop, stop it from creasing and provide a long lasting wear. $35-AUD

2.) M.A.C - Prep+Prime Highlighting Pen in colour 'Bright Forecast'.

I think this has to be one of my all time favorite makeup products. I am super happy to have finally purchased this. This is a super smooth, lightweight and creamy highlighter pen that can be applied before or after makeup. I especially like using this colour to hide my dark under eye circles. Its peachy tone and lightweight formula make it perfect for buffing into the under eye area to neutralize darkness. $42-AUD

3.) Shiseido - Purifying Mask.

This is an fantastic skin treatment if you are in a rush or don't have too much time on your hands. This is a dense creamy, rinse off mask, formulated with Marine Mineral Clay. It helps to minimize the appearance of pores and works to absorb surface sebum and impurities. It leaves the skin visibly smoother and refreshed. This product should be massaged onto a clean, dry face. Leave on for 5 minutes and then rinse off. I like to wipe the product off with a damp face cloth. It is recommended to be used once or twice a week, or as needed. $65-AUD

4.) M.A.C - Face and Body Foundation.

This is an ultra fluid formula with a sheer to medium, buildable coverage. It is super lightweight and almost feels like you are wearing no makeup at all. It is water resistant and long wearing. I love this foundation as it is very hydrating and provides ample moisture to my dry skin. It has a fresh dewy look, and is perfect for an everyday, natural skin finish. This foundation can be applied with a makeup brush or with fingers. I prefer fingers with this one. The warmth from the fingers, helps it glide on evenly and blend in to the skin. I like to apply one layer, wait 30 seconds to let the product set slightly and then go ahead with another layer. 50ml-$49-AUD or 120ml-$60-AUD

5.) Kevin Murphy - Easy.Rider.

This is definitely one product that I could not live without! I use to get my mum to send me containers of this when I lived abroad, thats how much I love it. This is a creamy/paste like texture for curly hair. Its packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that treat your hair as you style. It can be applied to damp or dry hair. this product helps to control frizz in curly hair, providing flexible hold. I like to apply this to damp hair, and either use a defuser to dry it or let it dry naturally. I find it helps shape my curls beautiful and provides a soft bouncy finish.

Approximately $35-AUD depending on stockist.

6.) Tanya Burr - Lip Gloss in 'Picnic In The Park' and 'Champagne Toast'.

I had been holding out for a couple of these glosses for a while and last month a good friend of mine returning from London picked these two up for me. I have not been disappointed. Tanya Burr is a British fashion, beauty and lifestyle vlogger. She recently released a range of lipgloss and nail polishes. I found these two, to be highly pigmented, ultra glossy and long lasting. There is no need to wear a lipstick underneath and they smell beautiful too.

Unfortuantely these are not avaialble in Australia but you can possibly order then online. I know Superdrug in the UK sells her line. http://goo.gl/TOBpaj
