Welcome To My Kit - Edition #1 Bobbi Brown Artist Palette For Lips.

I thought it might be fun to do a couple of posts a month showing you some of my favorite makeup products I carry in my kit. Products I couldnt live without, products I seem to always reach for when working on clients, and products I have recently added to my kit. In this 1st post, I am showing you one of the newest additions to my makeup family, and a product I have wanted for a very long time now, the Bobbi Brown Artist Palette for Lips. I am a huge fan of Bobbi Brown and have been using her products since I studied makeup. I think they are excellent quality and have good variety when it comes to colour. This palette comes with a lip brush with protective cap and 54 shades of lipstick ranging in 4 formulas - 22 Lip Color shades, 13 Rich Lip Color shades, 12 Creamy Lip Color shades, and 7 Creamy Matte Lip Color shades. The Palette is divided into two sides like a book with a firm plastic divider which has the name of each corresponding shade written on it. Its taken all the work away from creating your own palette. I would recommend this to makeup artists more than just for personal use. Most people aren't going to need all 54 shades of lipstick unless you are an avid lipstick wearer who likes to experiment with colour.

I was looking to broaden my lipstick collection, but couldn't afford to buy this many shades individually. Although this is quite expensive $310AUD I thought it was very good value. I now have all these colours and only need to purchase a lipstick when I need to replace a colour in the palette. I have a shade for every occasion.
